About the Journal
The Nigerian Journal of Animal Production (NJAP) is a publication of the Nigerian Society for Animal Production (NSAP). The NSAP was inaugurated in March 1973 during the first International Symposium on Animal production in the Tropics at the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. The first edition of the Journal was published in 1974 and since NJAP has consistently being at the forefront of producing top quality articles in the field of Animal Agriculture for both domestic and international consumption.
The Journal currently publishes six issues in a year. Any of the present issues could feature the biography of one eminent personality as Mark of honour to him or her.
