Abstract

RETROSPECTIVE surveys carried out in two divisions, Ibarapa and Badeku in Oyo State of Nigeria revealed that abortions, stillbirths, dystokias and perinatal deaths accounted for reproductive losses in goats between 1971 and 1974. The information collected has proved useful as a basis for designing or executing prospective surevys of these losses,
