The study was conducted to evaluate the chemical composition and hematological parameters of West African Dwarf (WAD) Rams fed Ficus Sycomorus and Crotalaria retusa. Four isonitrogenous diets with 16% Crude Protein (CP) were formulated to contain Ficus sycomorus and Crotalaria retusa leaf meal at ratios of 0:30, 10:20, 20:10 and 30:0 of Ficus sycomorus:Crotalaria retusa, representing the four different treatments. The experimental design was a completely randomized design with four animals per treatment. The chemical composition of diets during the study shows that parameters across the treatments were significantly affected (P<0.05). The haematological parameters: Packed cell volume (PCV), haemoglobin (Hb), red blood cells (RBC), white blood cells (WBC) and Mean corpuscular volume (MCV) were significantly different (P<0.05) among the treatments. However, the haematological values fall within the normal range and hence the animals are deemed safe at the end of the trial
