Résumé

This study evaluated the effect of incorporating ginger meals in broiler chicken fed Blood Serum biochemical and lipid profile of the animals. A total of 120 Anak broiler chickens, were used in a complete randomized design which lasted for eight weeks. Diet 1 (Control) contained no ginger, diets, 2, 3, 4 and 5 contained 0.5%, 1.0% , 1.5% and 2.0% ginger respectively. Blood sample collected and analyzed for its Blood serum and lipids components attributesResults on the serum biochemical and lipid profile obtained from the experimental birds showed significant (P<0.05) dietary treatments effect on serum-biochemical and lipid profile. Notably, the birds consuming 1.5% ginger had the highest values for Globulin (1.67, 1.85, 1.50, 2.1 5Sand1.83g/dl) and Triglyceride (19.50, 30.17, 25.50,39.67 and 26.50 mg/dl). It can be concluded that the inclusion of ginger (Zingiber officinale) to the broiler diet enhances the health statue. The chickens can tolerate ginger root powder up to 1.5%.
